Kristen completed her psychology degree at Laurentian University in 2017. She continued with post graduate studies at Algonquin College in the Autism & Behavioural Science program while working in schools as an ABA and IBI therapist. Kristen graduated from Yorkville University’s Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program in the winter of 2023. Kristen acted as the program director of the Sudbury Youth Action Network from 2018 to 2024, developing special programming for youth. Kristen has provided psychotherapy and developmental services in schools and in homes on Manitoulin Island since 2024, and started Diverse North Psychotherapy later that year. Kristen is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and has experience working with individuals, families and couples, utilizing various therapeutic strategies such as CBT, DBT, EFT and SFBT.
